VA El Duque

Duque is a goofy and fun young horse. Green broke, walk/trot/canter. He is an excellent dressage prospect with lots of athleticism.

He started late at the age of 4; he had a rough starting process over the winter (due to no fault of his own), and then started a new program the following fall with a new trainer. He has now been in a steady, consistent program for 5 months and hasn’t taken a step backward since. 

He has started in a lower-level dressage training program and now has a solid groundwork program under his belt. He is a smart but sensitive boy, always willing to please and try his best! He needs a leader as a partner, and so he is best suited for a very confident amateur rider, a confident young rider with a good trainer/coach, or a trainer looking for a fun partner! This guy has lots of future talent and is fun to ride; he floats like a cloud!
